Council of Ministers Acquainted with Preparations for Holding international Donors Donference on Development in East Sudan
Khartoum, July 22 (SUNA) - The Council of Ministers, chaired by the Vice President of the Republic, Ali Osman Mohamed Taha, was briefed Thursday on the ongoing preparations for holding the International Donors Conference for the Development of East Sudan by the end of next November
Meanwhile, the Cabinet heard to a report of the Assistant of the President of the Republic, Musa Mohamed Ahmed, about the preparations for the conference, expressing appreciation of the role of Kuwait for hosting and sponsoring the conference, which is expected to contribute to boosting the development and services in east Sudan
Ahmed commended the achievements of the East Sudan Development Fund in the implementation of a number of vital projects though a considerable support from the brothers in Kuwait, Qatar and China
Meanwhile, the Council of Ministers approved the regulation organizing the work of the Council of Ministers for the year 2010, as well as the regulation of the work of the ministerial sectors for the year 2010 as presented by the Minister of the Council of Ministers, Dr. Luka Piong, implementing the contents of the Republican Decree (22) for the year 2010, which specified the executive and national organs as well as the ministers and the ministerial sectors, which become four according to the decision of the Cabinet (180) for the year 2010.
