Chadian Foreign Affairs Minister: President Al-Bashir is in His Homeland and among his People
N'djamena, July 21 (SUNA) - The Chadian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Musa Fekki, has affirmed his country's welcome to the visit of President of the Republic, Field Marshal Omer Al-Bashir to N'djamena, stressing that he will be in his homeland and among his people
The Chadian minister said to SUNA that the relations between Sudan and Chad has witnessed lately remarkable positive developments and has now returned their normal course
Sudan Ambassador to Chad, Abdalla Al-Sheikh, said that President Al-Bashir is visiting Chad to participate in the Summit of Sahel and Sahara and in reply to the invitation of the Chadian President, Idris Deby, pointing out that the visit was not done lately due the engagement of the Sudan in the general and presidential elections as well as the formation of the new national unity government
Ambassador Al-Sheikh asserted that the Chadian people and the Sudanese community there were eager to receive President Al-Bashir and the accompanying delegation in N'djamena as the visit is another advanced step in the normalization of the relations between the two countries, besides the endeavours to develop the bordering areas to be centers for services, commercial and economic cooperation between Sudan and Chad
