British Government Officially Affirms that President Al-Bashir Does not Obtain any Account at British Banks or their Branches
London. March 9 (SUNA) - The British Minister of the Treasury pointed out that his ministry and the government of Britain have officially and absolutely sure that there is no account of Sudan President Omer Al-Bashir at any of the British banks or their braches abroad
In an official message he directed to the House of Lords, the British minister said that his ministry have reached this conclusion after addressing all the British banks and financial institutions in this regard and an intensive and precise search throughout a period of three month
It is to be recalled that this British move came following allegations raised by the prosecutor of the so-called International Criminal Court on accounts of President Al-Bashir at the British Lewis Bank
