Atim Garang Meets French Ambassador
Khartoum, July 29 (SUNA) - France has expressed support and readiness to cooperate with Sudan to achieve peace in Darfur and hold the referendum for South Sudan. Chairman of the Emergency Parliamentary Committee assigned to follow up the national issues, Atim Garang, Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly recived on Thursday the French Ambassador to Sudan and reviewed with him the French role and its direct impact on stability in the country
The meeting also discussed France's contributions in the health, social and cultural development in Southern Sudan. Meanwhile, the French ambassador affirmed his country's stance in support of Sudanese questions, especially with regard to holding of transparent referendum
