Wali of South Darfur Announced Arrest Two Persons Suspected of UNAMID
Khartoum, May 9 (SUNA)- The Wali (governor) of South Darfur, Abdul-Hamid Musa Kasha, announced that the Police forces have arrested two persons suspected of assassinating the two Egyptian soldiers of the UNAMID mission at Tulus Locality in South Darfur State
Meanwhile, the spokesman of the Police forces, Gen. Mohamed Abdul-Majid, said that the Police authorities are carrying out inquiry and gathering information, adding that the regular forces are still pursuing members of the robbery gang and launching extensive combing operations
The Commissioner of Tulus Locality Maj. Gen. (Rtd.) Mohamed Al-Hassan Bairag, said that the Police authorities were able to identify 90% of the facts of the crime and to arrest the suspected persons at the market of Karo Daglak in Id Al-Firsan area
In a telephone call with SUNA, the commissioner said that the two arrested persons are members of a seven-man gang which has used to loot and terrify citizens
