Vice President Receives Chairman of the Evaluation and Assessment Commission
Khartoum -Jan. 6 (SUNA) - Vice - President of the Republic, Ali Osman Mohamed Taha, Wednesday received the Chairman of the Assessment and Evaluation Commission), Sir Derek Plumbly. Sir Plumbly said in a statement to SUNA after the meeting that they discussed progress of the implementation of the Comprehensive Peace Agreement (CPA) and the recent achievements in this regard, especially the ratification of the National Assembly to the Act on Referendum of South Sudan, Act on Referendum of Abyei and the Act of People's Consolation, which were issued in accordance with the Comprehensive Peace Agreement (CPA). Sir Plumbly said he handed over a copy of the annual report of the Commission concerning the evaluation of the implementation of the CPA and the steps pertinent to the CPA. MF/MO
