Vice - President to Visit Cairo on Sunday

 

Khartoum, Feb. 6 (SUNA)- Vice - President of the Republic, Ali Osman Mohamed Taha, is due to leave Sunday for Cairo on a three-day visit to Egypt during which he would meet with President Mohamed Hosni Mubarak and a number of senior Egyptian officials

 

Taha will also hold talks with the Egyptian Prime Minister, Dr. Ahmed Nazhif, in the presence of the Sudanese and Egyptian delegations

 

The talks between the Sudanese and Egyptian parties will include ways to consolidate the bilateral relations and the situation at the regional and international levels

 

Taha will also meet with the Sudanese community in Egypt

 

SUNA learned that Taha will be accompanied during the visit by the Minister of International Cooperation, Dr. Al-Tigani Salih Fedail, the Minister of Information and Communication, Al-Zahawi Ibrahim Malik, the Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports, Mohamed Yousif Abdalla, the Wali (governor) of Khartoum State, Dr. Abdul-Rahman Al-Khidir, the State Minister at the Council of Ministers, Kamal Abdul-Latif, the State Minister for Foreign Affairs, Ali Karti, the Director of the Security and Intelligence Organ, Engineer Mohamed Attal-Moula, Chairman of the Businessmen Union, Saoud Al-Berair, Chairman of the Trade Chamber, Yousif Ahmed Yousif, Deputy Chairman of the Businessmen Union, Ali Abarsi, and Chairman of the Transport Chamber.
