The committee set to settle the dispute between the Missiriah and the Rizzigat tribes completed its tasks

 

Nyala, April 4 (SUNA)- The Good will committee set to close t he gap between the Missiriah and the Rizzigat tribes has complete d its work and has been able to cool the tension the area has witnessed during the past few weeks

 

Chairman of the committee Ibrahim Al Rihaid has pointed out in a briefing to the government of the State that the committee has already started its work without any objection from any of the two parties to the dispute, was able to reach the areas that have been affected by the incidents that occurred there, held consultations with the concerned parties and officials in the locality of Kass in south Darfur state

 

He said the committee has got assurances from the two parties that there would be no recurrences of the conflict and that they would work to open new allies and passages for the herds and see for the return of the persons affected by the disputes to their villages and home areas

 

Al Rihaid said a number of offshoot committees have been formed in addition to representatives from the tribal groups that have not taken part in the dispute to work for cooling down emotions and to prepare the ground for the reconciliation beside working to remove any of the remaining bad feelings left behind by the incidents

 

Meanwhile the Advisor to the Government of the State for Tribal Affairs, Ibrahim Abdallah has underlined the readiness of government to adopt the recommendations and resolutions reached by the committee
