The Popular Congress Party inaugurates its election campaign in Khartoum state
Khartoum, March 3 (SUNA)- The Popular Congress Party on Wednesday inaugurated its election campaign in Khartoum state in the area of Thawara 29, Karary locality, in the presence of its Secretary General Dr Hassan Turabi
The representative of the candidates, Ahmed Al Shain pointed out in his speech that his party could resolve all the problems facing Sudan and that the party has plans, projects and scientific papers dealing with all those problems scientifically
He said the Popular Congress would adopt the language of dialogue and negotiations with all other political parties in the country with the view to find an outlet for the problems facing the homeland
He asserted that the party would seek to draft legislations and work for a permanent constitution in the country
Engineer Al Tahir Ahmed Hamdoon, the party's nominee for the post of Governor for Khartoum State, said he would work to provide basic services for all the citizens such as education water and health services
He said he plans to make Khartoum a place where all ethnic groups would merge
He said the unity of Sudan has been the choice of the Popular Congress Party and that it would follow the method of justice and equality in the field of civil service and in the employment policies
