The Just Peace Forum Party says it is not taking part in the elections
Khartoum, Jan 22 (SUNA)- The Just Peace Forum Party has said it will not take part in the coming election process, denying that its chairman engineer Al Tayeb Mustafa is being nominated for the post of Khartoum Wali (Governor) in the elections as published by some news media recently
The Deputy Chairman of the party, General Ibrahim Al Rasheed argued that the politburo of the party has decided following thorough negotiations that continued for two days to pull out of the election process
He said the part has reached a decision that participation in the elections contradicts the objectives of the party , stressing that the party came into being not for a struggle over power but rather to achieve some specific objectives and principles which the party had announced since its inception
