Taha Meets Syrian Ambassador to Sudan
Khartoum, Feb. 23 (SUNA) - Vice President of the Republic, Ali Osman Mohamed Taha, Tuesday received at his office at the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers the Syrian Ambassador to Sudan, Turki Mohamed Segar, on the occasion of the expiry of his assignment to Sudan
Taha expressed during the meeting the appreciation of Sudan government and people to the distinguished levels of the relations and cooperation between the two countries at all levels, besides the continuous contacts between the leaderships of Sudan and Syria and their sponsor to the activity of the Joint Higher Committee, headed by the Vice President and the Syrian Prime Minister
The Syrian Ambassador expressed his warm appreciation of the welcome and cooperation of the Sudanese leadership to him and their facilitating to his mission in Sudan
