Taha Inaugurates 27th Session of Khartoum International Fair
Khartoum, Feb. 1 (SUNA)- Vice - President of the Republic, Ali Osman Mohamed Taha, Monday evening inaugurated the 27th session of Khartoum International Fair at the Exhibitions Area at Burri quarter in Khartoum, in the presence of a number of ministers, ambassadors, businessmen and representatives of the companies participating in the current session of the fair
The State Minister at the Ministry of Foreign Trade, Al-Semaih Al-Siddiq, addressed the inauguration ceremony reviewing the objective of the fair and its role in bolstering the relations with other countries, especially in the economic field
He said that the fair is a means of civilization dialogue and a boost to the peace process
The General Director of the Free Markets and Zones, Salah Amassaib, said that the current session of Khartoum International Fair convenes in a time when Sudan is approaching a new era after the signing of the Comprehensive Peace Agreement (CPA) and adoption of serious steps for realizing peace in Darfur
Chairman of the Sudanese Businessmen Union, Saoud Al-Berair, said that the participation of companies in the current session of Khartoum International Fair is providing a strong support to the national economy
It is to be noted that the countries participating in the current session of Khartoum International Fair include Algeria, Egypt, Syria, China, Kenya, India, Jordan
