Taha Affirms State Commitment to Realize Development of Animal Resources' Sector
Khartoum, Jan. 19 (SUNA)- Vice - President of the Republic, Ali Osman Mohamed Taha, has affirmed the importance of making the animal resources sector a leading one for realizing the socio-economic development and bolstering peace and unity in the country. Addressing Tuesday the opening sitting of the coordinative conference of the animal resources' ministers at the Friendship Hall, Taha said that the animal resources is an important economic sector which playing a major role in supporting the development and increasing the state's revenues. He called for realizing a qualitative progress in the animal resources sector and implementing the programmes and plans in regard. Taha stressed the importance of enhancement of the animal resources and livestock sector toward increasing the exports of livestock. He reiterated the state commitment to boost the animal resources' sector and to implement the programmes for its development and increasing its productivity. MO/MO
