Sudanese and Chadian Parties Hold Consultations and Affirm Strong Bilateral Relations
Khartoum, April 26 (SUNA) - A session of consultations was held Monday between the Sudanese and Chadian parties at the premises of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which was followed by receiving of the Chadian Ambassador, Mohamed Abdul-Raheem Aseel, to the properties of the Embassy of Chad to Sudan
The General Director of the Protocol Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Haidar Hassan Haj Al-Siddiq, said that the Sudanese and Chadian parties have exerted considerable efforts for removing the impediments facing progress of the relations between the two sister countries
He affirmed prevalence of the political will and the keenness at the two countries to establish a firm basis for entering a new stage of relations between Sudan and Chad
Meanwhile, the Ambassador of Chad, Mohamed Adul-Rahim Aseel, affirmed the strong ties between Chad and Sudan, stating that the leaderships of the two countries have determined to enhance the bilateral relations to a level which was not precedented and confronting all the challenges facing these relations
It is to be recalled that this step is coinciding with efforts being done for inauguration of the project for providing electricity supply by Sudan to 30 Chadian villages at the joint border
