Sovereign Sector Reviews Media Role in Enforcing National Accord, Unity and Peace
Khartoum, May 13 (SUNA)- The Sovereign Sector, chaired by the Minister at the Presidency of the Republic, Gen. Bakri Hassan Salih, Thursday held a meeting at the premises of the Council of Ministers and reviewed the contribution of the mass media in boosting the national accord, unity and peace
A report on this regard was presented at the meeting by the role of the different mass media in the coming stage, stressing the importance of expanding the Radio and TV transmission all over the country, especially in south Sudan toward creating an environment suitable to making unity attractive, fostering the value of peaceful existence, safeguarding the heritage, beliefs and customs under the umbrella of peace and national accord
