Qatari Prime Minister Hold Extensive Meetings with Darfur Factions
Doha, Feb. 16 (SUNA)- The Qatari Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Sheikh Hamad bin Jasim bin Jabr Al Thani, Monday evening held extensive meetings at Sheraton Hotel in Doha with armed movements and factions, including the delegations of the Justice and Equality, the Road Map Group and the Tripoli Group, separately
He also met with the Joint Mediator of the UN and African Union, Djibril Bassole, and reviewed the preparations to launch the negotiations for peace in Darfur, which are sponsored by Qatar, in collaboration with the United Nations, the African Union and the Arab League
These meetings were attended by the Qatari State Minister for Foreign Affairs, Ahmed bin Abdalla Al Mahmoud. MO/MO
