President Al-Bashir to attend opening sitting of meeting of National Council for Health Services
Khartoum, June 27 (SUNA) - President of the Republic, Field Marshal Omer Al-Bashir, will attend Sunday at Khartoum Teaching Hospital the opening sitting of the meetings of the National Coordination Council for Health Services after its reformation according with the decision of the Council of Ministers (41) under the chairwomanship of the federal Minister of Health, Dr. Thabita Boutros and membership of a number of ministers and specialists. In a statement to SUNA, Deputy Chairman of the preparatory technical committee for the meeting and Director of the Therapeutic Administration at the Ministry of Health, Dr. Hassan Abdul-Aziz, said that the meeting will be held in the form a workshop that will discuss working papers on a number of issues, including the health policies, health utilities, manpower, funding and medical supplies. He said that the meeting will review these working papers and submit its recommendations to the National Coordination Council for Health Services so as to be formulated in the shape of urgent emergency plans.
