President Al-Bashir to Launch Start of Work for Establishing Al-Fasher - Um-Kadada Road
Al-Fasher, Jan. 11 (SUNA)- President of the Republic, Field Marshal Omer Al-Bashir, will launch next Thursday in Al-Fasher, the capital of North Darfur, the start of work for implementing the sector of Al-Fasher - Um-Kadada, of the Western Salvation Highway, in the context of the conclusion of the 21st National School Tournament. This was announced by the Wali (governor) of North Darfur State, Osman Mohamed Yousif Kibir, at a meeting he held Monday in Al-Fasher with the higher committee for launching the start of work for implementing the road sector of Al-Fasher - Um-Kadada which extends to 167 kilometers, in the presence of the implementing Chinese and national companies. The Wali said that a high ranking delegation of the federal government and ambassadors of friendly countries will accompany the President of the Republic during his visit to Al-Fasher. MO/MO
