President Al-Bashir Receives Bayaa (Oath of Allegiance) from Elders of Batahin and Union of Recitors of Holy Quran

 

Khartoum- April 5 (SUNA) - Chairman of National Congress Party and candidate of the party for the presidency of the republic, Omar Hassan Ahmad Al Bashir, accompanied by Professor Al-Zubair Bashir Taha, Chairman of National Congress in Gezira state and the party's candidate for the position of the Wali (governor) of Gezira State, Monday paid an inspection visit to the Quranic Schools (Khalawi) of Sheikh Taha Al-Batahani in Al-Hasahisa Locality, Gezira State

 

During the visit, Omer Al-Bashir, received Bayaa (oath of allegiance) from Sheikh Taha Ibrahim Al-Batahani, and citizens of Batahin tribe, to maintain national sovereignty, to protect homeland and to preserve the national heritage, bedsides working to guarantee public freedoms and to adhere to the values of Shura as well as the achievement of stability and economic growth and to promote income and to increase production

 

Meanwhile, Al-Bashir also received a document of Bayaa (allegiance) from the Union of Recitors of the Holy Quran in Khartoum State in recognition of his role in serving the nation of the Quran and in support of his previous stances to uphold Islamic Sharia, and foiling the conspiracies of those who are trying to undermine the security and stability of Sudan
