President Al-Bashir Makes Telephone Calls with a Number of Arab and African Leaders
Khartoum, Feb. 21 (SUNA) - President of the Republic, Field Marshal Omer Al-Bashir, Sunday made a telephone call with the Libyan Leader, Muammar Al-Qaddafi, and thanked him for his continuous efforts for bolstering the peace and development in Darfur, calling on his to continue his efforts till realization of a lasting peace in the region
The Libyan Leader congratulated President Al-Bashir on the agreement which was signed between the government and the Justice and Equality Movement in N'djamena, wishing that Darfur region will enjoy permanent peace and stability
President Al-Bashir also made a telephone call with the President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, Mohamed Hosni Mubarak, the President of Eritrea, Assais Afewerki
Presidents Mubarak and Afewerki congratulated President Al-Bashir on the signing of N'djamena agreement by the government and the Justice and Equality Movement and wished that durable peace and stability will prevail in Darfur
President Al-Bashir also received a telephone call from the Chadian President, Idris Deby, who currently visiting Saudi Arabia, in which he congratulated President Al-Bashir on the signing of the agreement.
