President Al-Bashir Declares Signing of Peace Agreement with Justice and Equality Movement in Doha within Two Days

 

Khartoum, Feb. 20 (SUNA)- President of the Republic, Field Marshal Omer Al-Bashir, announced that the final signing of a peace agreement between the government and the Justice and Equality Movement would be within two days in Doha

 

Addressing a big women mass rally organized by the national committee for election of Omer Al-Bashir Saturday afternoon at Khartoum International Fair, President Al-Bashir also declared cancellation of all the death penalty sentences issued against convicts of the Justice and Equality Movement in Omdurman incidents

 

He declared release of 30% of the convicts in Omdurman incidents toward boosting the agreement reached in Chad

 

President Al-Bashir lauded the great efforts being done by the Chadian President, Idris Deby, for achieving peace in Darfur

 

He also praised the role of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosque, King Abdalla bin Abdul-Aziz, the President of Egypt, Mohamed Hosni Mubarak, the Libyan Leader, Muammar Al-Qaddafi, the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani, and the Iranian President, Ahmadi Nijad, for supporting Sudan and realizing peace in the country

 

Meanwhile, President Al-Bashir commended the role of the Sudanese women and her contribution in serving the national issues and her effective in the development field

 

He affirmed that the priorities of the Salvation includes realization of comprehensive peace, mobilizing the Sudanese people energies, realizing development, exploring oil and establishing hospitals, roads, bridges, dams and universities all over Sudan

 

He reiterated the full bias of Salvation government to all the women issues. MO/MO
