Khartoum, May 25 (SUNA) - President of the Republic, Field Marshal Omer Al-Bashir, Tuesday evening made a telephone call with the Ethiopian Prime Minister, Meles Zenawi, and congratulated him on the winning of his party, the Democratic Revolutionary Front, in the elections in Ethiopia
President Al-Bashir said that the winning of the Democratic Revolutionary Front in the elections affirmed the Ethiopian people confidence on the party's leadership
In his phone call with Premier Zenawi, President Al-Bashir wished more progress and permanent stability for sister Ethiopia
