President Al-Bashir Attends Graduation of Air Pilots at Military Air College
Khartoum, Feb. 16 (SUNA) - President of the Republic, Field Marshal Omer Al-Bashir, Tuesday afternoon attended the graduation of a new batch of air pilots at the Military Air College, in the presence of the Minister of National Defence, Lt. Gen. Abdul-Rahim Mohamed Hussein, Chief of the Joint Staff, Lt. Gen Mohamed Abdul-Gadir, and the Chief of Staff of the Air Force, Lt. Gen. Ahmed Ali Al-Fekki
Addressing the graduation ceremony, Lt. Gen. Abdul-Rahim Mohamed Hussein, said that the Armed Forces is keen to conduct the path of development and modernization
He affirmed importance of the Air Defence Forces in securing the Sudanese air space and protecting the strategic areas
He also stressed the determination of the Armed Forces to enhance its capabilities in the field air force
The graduation ceremony witnessed a show military air planes and honouring of the distinguished cadets of the ninth and 10th batch of cadets at the Military Air College. MO/MO
