President Al-Bashir Affirms Sudan Support to Saudi Arabia in Defending its Lands and Security
Riyadh, Dec. 30 (SUNA)- President of the Republic, Field Marshal Omer Al-Bashir, has affirmed Sudan support to Saudi Arabia in securing its borders and defending the integrity of its territories. In a statement to SUNA, the State Minister for Foreign Affairs, Ali Ahmed Karti, said that President Al-Bashir, has asserted at his meeting Wednesday evening in Riyadh with the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdalla bin Abdul-Aziz, the firm support of Sudan to Saudi Arabia in defending its security and the integrity of its lands. He said that the current visit of the President of the Republic, Field Marshal Omer Al-Bashir, to Saudi Arabia provided opportunity to inform about the situation in Sudan and to get assured about the strong support of Saudi Arabia to Sudan and its stability. Meanwhile, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdalla bin Abdul-Aziz, reiterated the stand of Saudi Arabia alongside Sudan, and the President of the Republic personally concerning the plots being woven against Sudan and its leadership. The Sudanese and Saudi parties held a round of talks at the Royal Palace in Riyadh, which was co-headed by the President of the Republic, Field Marshal Omer Al-Bashir, and the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdalla bin Abdul-Aziz.
