President Al-Bashir Addresses Mass Rallies in Atbara and Shendi Towns
Atbara, April 7 (SUNA)- The candidate of the National Congress for the presidency of the republic, Field Marshal Omer Al-Bashir, has affirmed his concern with enhancement and rehabilitation of Sudan Railways, establishment of a new railways line to link between Khartoum and Port-Sudan as well as rehabilitation and modernization of the train carts and locomotives
This came in his address to a mass rally Wednesday afternoon in Atbara city
President Al-Bashir announced that studies were conducted to establish Setet and Atbara River dam for development of Atbara River area
He announced the government readiness to construct the electricity line for Abu-Hamad town, appreciating the role of youths and women in the building of nations
President Al-Bashir also addressed a mass rally in Shendi town Wednesday noon, affirming his commitment to continue leading the march of development and progress in the country
