Police says elections are going on in a smooth manner
Khartoum, April 11 (SUNA)-Police on Sunday said ballot casting has been going on without anything event to spoil them, at a time international observers said they do not expect any development that could mar the process
Jimmy Carter, the former US President and head of Carter Centre, told journalists that the did not expect any side to seek spurring violence or chaos and that all parties seek a peaceful transformation in the country saying that he expect the elections to be save and secure to the end
Police said they have deployed over 100,000 elements to secure the process all over the country, stressing they were able to fully protect and see the peaceful ending of the process and the electors
A tour conducted by the Sudan News Agency has shown full police protection for the polling centers and locations, day and night
