Police puts in place all necessary security Measures for safe conduct of the elections in Darfur
Khartoum, April. 7 (SUNA) - The Chairman of Khartoum State Criminal Department, the Spokesman of the High Committee for Securing the Elections, General, Police. Mohamed Ahmed Ali affirmed the stability of security situation in Darfur, saying all necessary measures have been taken to secure the safe conduct of the election process in the region
He told SUNA that the agreements which were reached with regard to achieving peace in Darfur have reflected positively on the improvement of the security situation on the ground
General Mohamed Ahmed has stressed in the press conference organized by Khartoum State Police at the Sudanese Media Center (SMC),Wednesday that the security situation in Darfur was stable, saying that there were some isolated cases of armed rubbery, adding that the police forces coordinated with the Armed forces and the other security bodies to ensure a peaceful and calm conduct of t he elections
