Parliament Approves Act of People's Consultation in South Kordofan and the Blue Nile
Khartoum, Dec. 30 (SUNA) - The National Assembly ratified by the end of its session Wednesday the Act of People's Consultation for the citizens of South Kordofan and the Blue Nile State for the year 2009. The act gives the citizens of South Kordofan and the Blue Nile States the right to express their opinions in compliance with the Comprehensive Peace Agreement (CPA) and the protocol on solution of the dispute in the two states as well as reflecting their views through two parliamentary commissions on the response of the agreement to their aspirations.
