North Darfur Wali Receives Malaysian Envoy for Sudan

 

Al-Fasher, Jan. 21 (SUNA)- The Wali (governor) of North Darfur State, Osman Mohamed Yousif Kibir, Thursday received at the Guest House in Al-Fasher the visiting Malaysian envoy for Sudan, Syed Ariff Fadzillah, and the Ambassador of Malaysia to Sudan and reviewed horizons of Malaysia contribution to the water, health and education services at the voluntary repatriation villages in North Darfur State, and the possibility of establishment of a vocational training centre in the state through support from Malaysia. Kibir appreciated the support being extended by Malaysia to the Sudanese people at all fields. He gave a comprehensive review to the Malaysian envoy and ambassador on the security and humanitarian situation in the state, affirming that his state is witnessing increasing stability. He pledged to provide the required facilities to enable Malaysia to establish its projects in North Darfur State. Meanwhile, the Malaysian envoy expressed his appreciation over the improvement of the security and humanitarian situation and the progress in the development situation in North Darfur State. He also lauded the efforts being exerted by Sudan government for achieving comprehensive peace in the country. The Malaysian envoy reviewed at the meeting the services projects that Malaysia plans to implement in Sudan at the fields of water, health, education as well as establishment of a vocational training centre in North Darfur State.
