Meningitis Cases decreased: Federal Health Ministry Official
Khartoum, May. (SUNA) - The Director of the Epidemics Department at the Ministry of Health, Dr. Babiker Al-Magboul, has affirmed the drop of the meningitis cases in past week
Dr. Al-Magboul said in press conference he held Monday that no meningtis cases were reported in Khartoum, Sennar and Gezira States in the past three weeks. He said that no mengitis cases were reported in the three states of Darfur due to the vaccination campaign which targets million and 300 persons
He explained that the reported number of meningitis cases reached 38 cases, affirming the provision of the vaccine to cover all the targeted areas
