Joint Special Representative (JSR) of the African Union-United Nations Mission in Darfur arrived to Sudan Friday
Khartoum, Jan. 22 (SUNA) - The new Joint Special Representative (JSR) of the African Union-United Nations Mission in Darfur (UNAMID), Ibrahim Gambari, arrived in Khartoum Friday to take up his mission Sudan
The Spokesperson for the UNAMID, Noureddine Mezni, told the Sudan news agency that Professor Gambari will hold a series of intensive talks with senior officials in Khartoum before flying to Darfur
It is to be noted that Professor Gambari was the permanent representative of Nigeria to the untied nations. He also served as Nigeria's foreign Minister. MA/MA
