Japan supports refurbishment of water supply in Kassala State
Khartoum, Feb. 17 (SUNA) - The Government of Japan has extended a grant assistance totaling 83,851 dollars to refurbish a water supply network at Village 15 in New Halfa Locality, Kassala State
A press release by the Embassy of Japan in Khartoum said the grant contract was signed Wednesday between H.E. Japanese Ambassador Mr. Yuichi Ishii and Abdullah Mohamed Ali, Chairperson of Village 15 Popular Committee
One of the goals in Japanese socio-economic development assistance in Sudan is to boost the basic human needs including providing clean water resources, the press release added. BT/BT
