In Phone Call with Al-Qaddafi: President Al-Bashir Affirms Progress of Sudanese - Chadian Relations
Khartoum, May 15 (SUNA)- President of the Republic, Field Marshal Omer Al-Bashir, Saturday evening made a phone call with the Libyan Leader, Muammar Al-Qaddafi, in which they reviewed progress of the Sudanese - Chadian relations and the peace efforts in Darfur
President Al-Bashir affirmed through the phone call that the Sudanese Chadian relations are progressing well, explaining that the Sudanese and Chadian parties began implementation of the agreements which they have signed , including deployment of forces and development of the joint border area. Meanwhile, the Libyan Leader appreciated Sudan government efforts to realize peace in Darfur, indicating that the Justice and Equality Movement is not serious to join the peace march in Darfur
He also appreciated the concern of President Al-Bashir with consolidation of the Sudanese - Chadian relations, and thanked him for his condolence over death of the passengers in the crash of the Libya plane lately
