First Arab forum on quality strategy to be held in Khartoum
Khartoum, Jan. 15 (SUNA) - The first Arab conference on the strategy of quality and long-term success under the comprehensive quality control management, will be organized by the Arab Organization for Administrative Development in cooperation with the Supreme Council for Comprehensive Quality & Excellence in Burjal-Fatih Hotel in Khartoum in Sudan, in the period 17 - 19 January
The conference will be attended by representatives of the Arab member states and a number of the concerned ministers
This was declared by the Deputy Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for Comprehensive Quality & Excellence in Sudan, Dr. Awadia Al-Khateeb, at a press conference held at the premises of the Council
She pointed out that the forum aims to familiarize participants with contemporary developments in applications of comprehensive quality- control management and to acquaint them with the requirements of the transfer of ideas, concepts and methods of application of quality management systems as well as to display the overall planning on how to implement the comprehensive quality according to the resources and needs besides the application of measurement and control mechanisms
She said that the forum will discuss several axes, including the important concepts and operational frameworks for quality, management of comprehensive Quality Control, the future prospects of the Comprehensive Quality Control as well as the fields, scopes and functional dimensions of the various stages of comprehensive quality management besides the ISO certification and the problems of applying the systems of the comprehensive quality control management
Dr. Awadia pointed out that the forum will be attended by a number of senior administrative leadership in the ministries and concerned organizations both in the public and private sectors
She explained that the opening sitting will be addressed by Adviser of the President of the Republic for Comprehensive Quality Control and Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for Comprehensive Quality & Excellence in Sudan, Prof. Hadi Mohamed Ahmed Al-Tighani, Federal Minister of Health Dr. Tabitha Boutros, and Minister of Labor Alison Manani Magaya, and Minister of State at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Prof. Fathi Mohamed Khalifa
The Conference will continue for three days and will come out with recommendations that would be adopted by the Arab Organization for Quality in order to be applied in the member states
