Establishment of Islamic Council of South Sudan Announced
Juba, Mar. 1 (SUNA)- Chairman of the higher committee of the General Foundation conference of the Muslims in South Sudan, Al-Tahir Pior, has announced the establishment of the Islamic Council of South Sudan to sponsor the rights and activities of the Muslims in the south
He said that the establishment of Islamic institutions in south Sudan aims to preserve the religious co-existence
Meanwhile, the General Foundation Conference of the Muslims in South Sudan reviewed Monday a paper on the Islamic Da'awa in South Sudan presented by Abu-Bakr Deng and another one presented by Engineer Gamaral-Dawla Mohamed Suleiman on the Effect of Zakat (alms) on the State
