Election Commission delegation got assured about progress of elections process in Kassala State
Khartoum- 3 Jan. (SUNA) - A delegation of the National Elections Commission, headed by Deputy Chairman of the Commission, Abdalla, Ahmed Abdalla, has got informed about the progress of the elections in Kassala State. The delegation, which is currently on a visit to Kassala State, held a series of meetings with the state government headed by Salah Ali Adam, and a number of officials, particularly the higher elections committee in Kassala State. The delegation of the commission was acquainted with the steps done with regard to the registration and the arrangements for the coming period, besides the publication of lists of voters as well as the preparations for the final phase of publication of the register of voters and the beginning of the nomination for the legislative and executive positions. SUNA learnt that the delegation will pay a similar visit Monday to Gedarif State. MF/MO
