Election Commission Describes Report of Carter Center as Unprofessional and Nonobjective
Khartoum, May 12 (SUNA) - The National Elections Commission has described the recent report issued by Carter Center on the elections as unprofessional and non-objective
In a press statement, Chairman and Spokesman of the General Elections Commission, Prof. Abdalla Ahmed Al-Hardallo, said that the commission reviewed in its regular meeting Wednesday the report issued by Carter Center, indicating that this report has included ambiguous and imprecise phrases and did not mention particular events to prove its claims
Prof. Al-Hardallo criticized the claim of Carter Center about anarchy at 17,000 voting centers, adding that the National Elections Commission is aware, through its follow up of the electoral process, that the observers of Carter Center did not inspect even 1% of the voting centers, let alone the 17,000 centers that it has spoken about anarchy at them
He said that the commission did not yet complete reviewing the report of Carter Center, adding that after the precise studying of this report the National Elections Commission will be able to benefit from the positive aspects in it and will tell Carter Center about the erroneous parts in its report
