Economic Sector Adopts Recommendation for Enhancement of Customs Policies
Khartoum, Feb. 16 (SUNA)- The Economic Sector, headed by the Minister of Energy and Mining, Al-Zubair Ahmed Al-Hassan, Tuesday held a meeting and reviewed the policies relating to the customs work, facilitating the customs procedure, training and qualification of the forces for combating smuggling. The Economic Sector underscored the importance of the media role in acquainting with the destructive social and economic impacts of smuggling
The Economic Sector also reviewed a report of the Ministry of Trade on the indicators of the international prices of commodities and comparison between them and the local prices
Meanwhile, the Economic Sector called for increase of the agricultural production and realizing self-sufficiency in the basic commodities. MO/MO
