Dr. Nafie: Sudanese Workers' Trade Union Federation Plays the Greatest Role in Facing Tyranny
Khartoum, May 23 (SUNA) - Assistant of the President of the Republic, Dr. Nafie Ali Nafie, said that the Executive Bureau of the Sudanese Workers' Trade Union Federation (SWTUF) deserves robust praise for being careful of the rights of workers and addressing the national issues
Speaking to the concluding meetings of the SWTUF Central Committee in its fifth Session, Dr. Nafie said that SWTUF has one of the largest share in the Sudan's major issue on confronting tyranny and the targeting by the so-called the International Criminal Court, referring to the efforts that the SWTUF exerted in this regard
He referred to the role of trade unions in the post- elections period, congratulating those who were elected in the recent elections, adding that their contributions would be great and they represent a real addition to the parliament since they gained intensive training while performing their tasks in serving their fellows
