Dr. Ismail: Sudanese - Chadian Relations shall be Normal and Progressing

 

Khartoum, Jan. 7 (SUNA)- The Presidential Advisor and Chairman of the External Relations at the National Congress, Dr. Mustafa Osman Ismail, said that the Sudanese - Chadian are supposed to be firm and progressing and far away from differences. In a press statement Thursday, Dr. Ismail said that he does not rule out a meeting between President Al-Bashir and the Chadian President, Idris Deby at the African Union Summit which is scheduled to be held by the end of current January. He said that the steps done toward normalization of the relations between Sudan and Chad are encouraging to adoption of other steps in this path. Dr. Ismail indicated that expectation of failure for reaching this goal does prevent making other attempts on ground that Sudan and Chad are neighbours, and the relations between them are supposed progressing. He said that work shall continue toward normalization of the bilateral relations and making them progressing. MO/MO
