Dr. Ismail Hopes African Summit in Serte will Find Solutions for African Issues
Khartoum, June 28 (SUNA)- The Presidential Advisor and Secretary of External Relations at the National Congress, Dr. Mustafa Osman Ismail, hoped that the coming African summit in Serte, Libya, in the coming days would achieve remarkable success. In a press statement Sunday, he said that the coming African summit convenes under an important turning point represented in existence of new American administration that bears aspects of change in the American policy toward the region. Dr. Ismail said that the African summit in Serte would tackle means of solving the problems that are crippling Africa economically, politically and culturally. He said that the African summit in Serte also convenes under an international economic crisis, hoping that the summit would lay down basis for a genuine partnership that benefits all the African states. He indicated that the summit will also get informed on the situation in Sudan through the Sudanese files which will be exposed by the African Security and Peace Council and the committee of African wise leaders and the Africa stance toward the International Criminal Court (ICC).
