Dr Al Turabi affirms readiness to contest elections
Kosti, April 2 (SUNA)-Secretary General of the Popular Congress, Dr Hassan Al Turabi affirmed that the party will contest the elections at all levels despite reservations. Something, however, is better than nothing, he said. Addressing a political symposium here on Thursday, Dr Al Turabi said the Popular Congress is planning to establish a rule based on shura , constitution, law and political consensus and maintain good neighbourliness
The PC presidential candidate, Abdallah Deng said the party will encourage free economy, local and foreign investments, cut taxes, develop agriculture and ensure independent decision making and good neighbouliness
