Deng Alor to Head Sudan Delegation for Meetings of African Ministerial Council in Addis Ababa

 

Addis Ababa, Jan. 27 (SUNA)- The Foreign Minister, Deng Alor, is due lead Sudan delegation for meetings of the preparatory meeting of the African Ministerial Council for the upcoming African Summit in Addis Ababa. Deputy envoy of Sudan to the African Union, Akoy Bona Malwal, said in a statement to SUNA that the African Ministerial Council will submit its recommendations to the African Summit which is scheduled to begin on January 31, adding that the NEPAD summit is due to begin on January 30. He said that the agenda of the current session includes reviewing the report of the Chairman of the African Union Commission on the role of the African Peace and Security Council concerning a number of African Issues, including Darfur issue and the implementation of the Comprehensive Peace Agreement (CPA).
