China Considers Sending Observors for the Elections in Sudan
Khartoum, Jan. 18 (SUNA) - Deputy Chairman of the National Election Commission, Prof. Abdalla Ahmed Abdalla, Monday discussed with the Ambassador of China to Sudan preparations for arrival of a Chinese delegation to participate in the monitoring of the coming elections in Sudan. In a statement to SUNA, Prof. Abdalla reiterated the commission's welcome to the participation of China in the monitoring of the elections and its support to the election process in the country. Meanwhile, the Ambassador of China said that his country is considering dispatching a team of observers for the coming elections in Sudan, adding that he reviewed with the Deputy Chairman of the commission technical measures in this regard.
