Chairman of the National Elections Commission Thanks Those who Contributed to Success of the Elections
Khartoum, April 26 (SUNA) - Chairman of the National Elections Commission (NEC), Abil Aleir, expressed in a press conference he held Monday his thanks and appreciation to all those who have contributed to the success of the electoral process in Sudan
Aleir has commended the distinguished presence and participation of the local and international media for covering for the elections
He said that the past few days witnessed announcement of the results of the electoral process in most of the states and that today (Monday) the NEC concluded by announcing the elected President of the Republic and the President of the Government of Southern Sudan as well as elected governors of a number of states
