Chadian Charge d'Affaires Expresses Readiness of his Country to Contribute to Success of coming Negotiations in Doha

 

Khartoum, Jan. 20 (SUNA)- The Chadian Charge d'Affaires to Sudan, Hussein Jeida, has expressed the readiness of his country to contribute seriously to success of the coming negotiations in Doha between the government and Darfur movements, adding that his country is ready to send a high level delegation in this regard. Interviewed by SUNA Wednesday, the Chadian diplomat said that Chad is keen to work in the coming stage for prevalence of stability at the region. He said that Chad is keen to boost the stability in Sudan which is approaching a stage of general elections, indicating that Sudan has a good electoral experience and determined that the coming elections will be fair and transparent. The Chadian Charge d'Affaires said that Sudan and Chad began in the past two months working honestly and with strong determination to remove drastically any difference facing the relations between them. He said that the two countries have surpassed the differences of the past stage, indicating that the relations between Sudan and Chad are now moving ahead on strong bases. The Chadian diplomat said that the ties between the Chadian and Sudanese people remained firm during the past period which witnessed differences between the two countries. He stated that the Chadian officials in Sudan did not face any disturbances and did not feel that they are strangers. The Chadian Charge pressed his pleasure over the resumption of the economic and trade activities between Sudan and Chad. MO/MO
