Chadian Ambassador Appreciates Sudan Efforts in Supporting Security and Stability of Chad

 

Khartoum, April 26 (SUNA)- The Ambassador of Chad to Sudan, Mohamed Abdul-Rahim Aseel, affirmed that Chad and Sudan have surpassed the state of tension in the relations between them and made wide strides toward normalization of the fraternal relations between them

 

The ambassador got informed Monday about the efforts and arrangements of the Ministry of Science and Technology for implementing the directives of the President of the Republic, Field Marshal Omer Al-Bashir, which he gave during the recent visit of the Chadian President Idris Deby to Sudan for providing electricity supply to 30 Chadian villages at the joint border

 

The Chadian Ambassador affirmed in a press statement the determination of Sudan and Chad to remove any obstacle confronting the fraternal relations between Sudan and Chad

 

He stressed that Chad has fully relinquished any relation with the Sudanese opposition

 

He expressed his appreciation of the efforts of Sudan in boosting the security and stability of Chad

 

Ambassador Aseel has praised the efforts of Sudan to pave the way for negotiation between the Chadian government and opposition and hosting these negotiations in Khartoum

 

He disclosed that a new session of negotiation between the Chadian government and opposition would be held in the coming days, indicating that Sudan government has adopted all the required arrangements for this meeting

 

He said that the relations between Sudan and Chad are progressing toward the state of normalization, adding that the reconciliation shall be comprehensive and in all fields

 

The Chadian ambassador stressed that there no Sudanese opposition in Chad, stating that N'djamena is continuing its endeavours to help reaching solution for Darfur issue
