Bashir meets the Qatari Prime Minister
Doha, Feb 22 (SUNA) - The President of the Republic, Field Marshal Omar Al Bashir on Tuesday met with the Qatari Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Sheikh Hamad Bin Jasim Bin Jabir Al Thani and reviewed with him the efforts exerted to resolve the question of Darfur and the positive steps that have been achieved so far
The President of the Republic has commended the efforts exerted by the Emir of Qatar, his government and the Qatari people for their supportive role towards the Sudan and it's leading of the African Arab mediation to remedy the question of Darfur
The President of the republic reaffirmed Sudan's confidence in the role being played by Qatar, pointing out to the distinguished relations that link the two brotherly countries
