American Envoy to Arrive on Sunday
Khartoum, April 30 (SUNA) - The special US envoy for Sudan, Scott Gartion, is due to arrive in Sudan Sunday on a five-day visit
In a statement to SUNA, the Director of the American Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Nar-Eddin Wali, said that the US envoy's visit comes in the context of the ongoing consultations to push ahead the peace process in Sudan
He said that the American envoy would meet with a number of senior government officials in Sudan and visit Juba and Al-Fasher cities
Ambassador Wali said that Sudan looks forward for a relation with the United States that is based on the mutual respect and interests
