Alier commends the role played by the national election committees
Khartoum, March 3 (SUNA)- The Commissioner for the National Election commission Abel Alier has commended the performance of the various higher election committees and their efforts to overcome difficulties they have encountered stressing the vital role played by the civil society organizations in provision of their expertise and financial assistance to the election process
The head of the commission, Chairman Alier, has pointed out in his address to the second conference of the higher election commissions held in the Salam Rottana Hotel on Wednesday that the members of the committees should benefit from the experience of the experts in the domain of the election and voting process
The representative of the civil society organizations Roy Kennedy has on his part commended the role played by the international organizations and the UN charity bodies
